5 There were elk cows and calves everywhere in Jasper. A few in our group spotted a bull, but none for me (probably a good thing!). All it took was a 5 minute walk from our cabin in almost any direction and they're calmly going about their business. Needless to say, I let the telephoto lens close the distance, not my feet. 🦌🦌

12 Tuesday morning, we took the Jasper Sky Tram which climbs 3200 ft to the upper tram station at 7475 ft. From there it's possible to hike another 630 ft in elevation to reach Whistlers Summit at 8100 ft.
