Latkepalooza 2021 Dec 3, 2021

CBSRZ's 6th night of Hannukah celebration was a return of the Latkepalooza 🕎🕯. With an expected attendance of close to 90, Maxine was on duty to be part of the scaled-down latke crew. Grating 20lbs of potatoes and preparing the batter took quite a few back-breaking hours and then carting it all over to the temple kitchen for a couple of hours hunched over spattering hot oiled fry pans. No wonder vodka has become the mandatory official drink of the "latke crew"! 🍸🍸
