Max spent two years studying with the rabbi for her adult bat-mitzvah which was scheduled for the weekend immediately after we returned from Hawaii. Max was originally going to take her last lessons from 6000 miles away via skype, but as always she was way over-prepared before we even got on the plan. Still there was a lot non-Hawaiian chanting practice going on in our Kauai timeshare! It was a beautiful day with family and friends and I am so proud of her for this amazing milestone. Mazel Tov Max!
